Use your own AI, then leave a follow-up
- Connect Claude or ChatGPT and choose a pack you are authorised to use.
- Ask your questions using its current permitted materials.
- When you want the owner to know something, ask your AI to send a request, comment or note. Review the exact message and explicitly approve sending it.
- Your AI calls submit_pack_request, submit_comment or submit_note and receives a submission reference. It can check submission_status later while pack access remains valid.
What reaches the owner?
Only the message you deliberately submit, your verified recipient email, the selected pack and the submission time. Your whole chat and private working notes are not automatically collected. A note submitted to the owner is shared with that owner; it is not a private scratchpad.
Where owners find messages
Open Recipient inbox in your signed-in workspace. Filter by message type and status, mark a message read, close it, export the displayed page or delete its content. A submitted message is not proof that its sender read the pack. Marked read means the owner chose that action.
Privacy and retention
Messages are encrypted at rest; OpenDataRoom can decrypt them for the authorised owner. They are retained for up to 90 days unless the owner deletes them sooner. Existing pack permissions and deadlines still apply. Deletion cannot recall exports or information already returned to another system.
No agent setup in this version
No API key, external agent or automated research is required or offered. Submitting a message does not promise an answer or start any AI work. The owner decides how to follow up outside the service.
